Logistics firm CTO do Brasil has transported an outsized drilling machine to the U.S. from Brazil.
The over-dimensional machine was transported by road from the shipper's plant to a warehouse in Santos, Brazil. Once there a team from CTO lashed and secured the item on to a flat-rack for shipment to Houston.
“After arrival in Houston, the machine cleared customs and was successfully delivered to the [CONEXPO-CON/AGG] exhibition venue,” a spokesperson for CTO said.
CTO do Brasil is a subsidiary of the CTO Group which provides breakbulk services worldwide and operates offices in China, South Korea, Germany, Italy and Australia. The firm is a member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects ISO 9001 and 14001 certified project cargo and heavy-lift specialists worldwide.
