Transformers and Compressors to Egypt
Cargo handler First Global Logistics has completed two urgent breakbulk deliveries from the U.S. to Egypt.
The complex project involved transport of two transformer units by air from Los Angeles to Cairo and two compressors delivered from Houston Port to Alexandria Port. The transformers weighed 12 tonnes in total while the compressors weighed 26 tonnes.
“[The team] have proven their understanding of the urgency of the oil and gas industry by meeting demands to rescue a shutdown,” a spokesperson for FGL said.
