Delivery to Offshore Site in Mumbai

Transport services provider First Global Logistics has delivered a set of subsea production structures from Egypt to India.

The breakbulk assignment involved transport of five structures from Suez to an offshore site in Mumbai. The identical units each measured over seven meters in length and weighed 15 tonnes.

"Back in 2017, First Global Logistics was awarded the first job movement for one of our precious clients of six offshore metal structures serving an oil field. In September 2019, we received a notice from the same client that we have been automatically awarded as their first choice for moving a new set of a similar subsea structures from the same plant,” said Mazen K. Sabry, business development manager.

Headquartered in Egypt, FGL is a member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects ISO-certified breakbulk carriers worldwide.
