Cargo specialist Hareket Heavy Lifting and Project Transportation has handled movement of an over-dimensional yacht at West Istanbul Marina, Turkey.

The breakbulk transport involved moving the 1,680-ton yacht from hanger to floating deck on behalf of manufacturer Bilgin. A team from Hareket utilized a 64-axle Goldhofer PST/SL-E self-propelled modular transporter with four power pack units.

“After being loaded onto the floating deck, the superyacht was launched in a private ceremony,” a spokesperson for Hareket said. 

Headquartered in Istanbul, Hareket is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connects around 200 pre-qualified project forwarders in more than 100 countries. Hareket is an exhibitor at Breakbulk Europe and Breakbulk Asia.
