Five Units to Kuwait
Transportation firm Khimji Ramdas Projects & Logistics has delivered a set of pressure separators from Oman for their export to Kuwait.
The five breakbulk items weighed 1,200 tonnes in total and were transported 700 kilometers from Nizwa Industrial Estate to the Port of Duqm. From there a team from Khimji Ramdas arranged export on chartered vessels heading to Kuwait.
“While the low pressure separators were the longest at 27.3 meters, the high pressure separators were the heaviest at 322 tonnes. Each piece was moved in consultation with and with permission from the Ministry of Transport and the Royal Oman Police,” a spokesperson for Khimji Ramdas said.
Headquartered in the Omani capital Muscat, Khimji Ramdas provides a range of breakbulk handling services via a fleet consisting of bulk vessels, tankers, product carriers, common carrier feeders, air cargo, ship supply and stores. The firm is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium, or WWPC.
